Access web chat

Available at selected times

The National Breastfeeding Helpline and ABM offer a web chat breastfeeding support service for mums and their supporters in the UK. It is a confidential one-to-one secure online chat with a trained breastfeeding supporter. It works like instant messaging – it’s just typing, there are no webcams, and the only people who can see the chat are you and the volunteer supporter.

If you don’t mind waiting for a reply, you can get in touch with us by email. We’ll try to reply within five working days although sometimes we can get back to you sooner. Tell us your concern and help us to build an accurate picture by letting us know how old your baby is and how you’re currently feeding him/her.

Information library

You’ll find comprehensive guides to breastfeeding on our website. All our leaflets can be downloaded free of charge or you can buy them from our online shop.
