East Kilbride Breastfeeding Buddies are volunteer mums who give some of their time to help and support breastfeeding in East Kilbride and Strathaven. The Buddies have breastfed their own children, completed and NHS Lanarkshire Breastfeeding training progamme and are registered volunteers. Buddies are available to meet antenatal mums at the clinic to provide additional breastfeeding information. They can also support breastfeeding mums on a one-to-one basis at home or over the phone.
